Bipha Ayurveda is a 75 year old company manufacturing Ayurvedic medicines. With the 3rd generation of the family taking over management of the company, they have, over the last 5 years, diversified into the area of high-end, popular skincare and cosmetic products as well. The decision was taken to put up their own stores all over India and select locations in the Gulf countries, at select airports and shopping malls as they wanted their own strong brand identity. We decided to use a combination of high-tech materials like frosted glass, stainless steel and LED lighting set within a geometric framework of real wood that ties the design together as its main feature. The same language is followed on the floor, with a combination of wood batons, wood flooring, and frosted glass panels, to create a contemporary yet “Kerala-traditional" ambiance. Locations such as Kuwait, Goa, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi, Pune, Kannur are some of the many stores which have been built with more coming up across the Asian sub-continent.
