Geojit, a large financial management and investment company has decided to build an IT building in Info Park Phase II. It was to be a single building of about 200,000 sq. ft. But they wanted commercial spaces on the ground and first floors. We created a building with a stepped facade to maximize areas within what was a very odd-shaped site. We continued the "stepping" on the top of the building, thereby producing a series of terraces, which were covered by a large array of solar panels, in keeping with our bias towards self-sustainability. These floors with terrace access would become restaurants. The main building was designed with a 10 floor high atrium which, apart from being he vertical movement hub, also became the main lounge and coffee shop for the building....thereby becoming the social hub of the building as well.
